Professor Maverick Santos started his Jiu Jitsu journey back in Brazil in 2007, with the renowned Master, Zé Radiola. Maverick moved to Australia in 2019 to compete and teach Jiu Jitsu at the SJJA Jiu Jitsu ACADEMY led by renowned Bruno Alves. Professor Maverick has 15 years of experience and much of it has been competing nationally and internationally, he has already collected medals in the main tournaments in Brazil such as the Brazilian National, World Abu Dhabi pro Natal Trial, AJP tour Oceania Gi and NoGi. Maverick has developed his coaching skills at SJJA Caloundra jiu jitsu academy as a Head Coach for children and adults. Now he is looking forward to sharing his skills at SJJA KAWANA located in kawana waters Sunshine Coast Queensland and helping his students achieve their goals.
